We inform all visitors that the regular annual inspection and maintenance of the GD10 Pale gondola will take place from May 21 to 23, 2025, in cooperation with the renowned Austrian company WPK Austria GmbH.
The inspection is conducted in accordance with the European standard EN 1709, which defines safety requirements for cableway installations designed to transport people. During the three-day inspection, the following work will be carried out:
Visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) of grips and cabin hangers,
Detailed rope inspection, including MRT testing,
Braking and drive system tests in both directions under full load,
Inspection of all gondolas, hangers, and the line using the maintenance vehicle,
Verification of mechanical and safety equipment at both the upper and lower stations.
IMPORTANT: During the inspection period, from Wednesday, May 21 at 12:00 PM until Friday, May 23, the gondola will not be in operation.
