An international FIS alpine skiing competition – the 9th Ravna Planina Trophy – is currently taking place on Ravna Planina on February 2 and 3, featuring the men’s slalom discipline.

The event has brought together 71 athletes from more than 20 countries, once again confirming Ravna Planina’s position as a serious and internationally recognized ski destination. The start list includes competitors from Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Belgium, Japan, the United States, Israel, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Greece, Cyprus, Argentina, New Zealand, Haiti, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
All scheduled FIS activities were successfully carried out, including course inspection, team captains’ meetings, and technical preparation of the slope. The competition is being conducted fully in accordance with International Ski Federation (FIS) regulations, with excellent snow and weather conditions.

The hosting of this FIS event represents another important step in the development of Ravna Planina as a venue for international sporting events and contributes significantly to the promotion of winter tourism in the region.
